Have you ever had a week where you thought it was a different day of the week ALL WEEK LONG!?

That was me this week, and apparently a lot of others too. Yesterday I taught my first class at Marin Power Yoga and when I asked if anyone was feeling the same it seemed like half the class side-eyed me as if to say, “mother effing yes…”

I can’t tell if that feeling stems from having too much on my plate, or from an overwhelming amount of good things on my plate. Looking at it literally, a meal flies by way faster when the food and company are good.

With a lot to be grateful for lately, I think this week felt long because of all the good things on my plate.

This new smoothie recipe helped me through it, too.

Ingredients:

1 cup Milk (I used Milkadamia)

1/2 tsp Mizuba Matcha (I used their Daily)

1 tbsp protein powder

1/2 tsp cinnamon

3/4 cup Blueberries

3 chunks of steamed + frozen cauliflower

2 slices of steamed + frozen zucchini

1 tbsp nut butter (I went with a homemade mix of pecan and almond butter)

Directions:

Add all the ingredients to a blender.

Blend on high speed until frozen vegetables disappear.

(Optional) Sprinkle on your favorite toppings. Seen here are bee pollen and cacao pieces.

Enjoy! <3
