If you had to eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Easy.

Almond Butter and Strawberry Jam Sandwich with granola sprinkled inside, and a tall glass of freshly made almond milk on the side.

Surprising or, no?

I make a mean butter and jam sandwich. It’s no ordinary sandwich either. I’ll add some sliced apples or berries, crumbled granola for crunch, drizzle some honey. The possibilities are endless. 

This AB & J smoothie will satisfy your cravings, full of pecans, goji berries and of course, strawberries and almond butter.

Ingredients:

1 cup Almond Milk

1/4 tsp Maca powder

1 tsp chia seeds

1/4 cup pecans

2-3 tbsp goji berries (you can either pre-soak them or just give them a good rinse before tossin’ them in)

1/4 cup strawberries (I leave the stems on)

1 tbsp almond butter

Ice (optional)

 

Directions:

Add Almond Milk to blender, followed by Maca powder, chia seeds, pecans and goji berries.

Add strawberries and almond butter. I like to use the strawberries to scoop the almond butter out of the spoon.

Blend on Medium to High speed.

Serve and enjoy!
